This chart gives you a quick look at the benefits for the various plans. 

    For 2010 the basic benefits for Part A coinsurance and hospital stays include:

§         $1,100 for the first 60 days

§         $ 275 per day for day 61-90 of a hospital stay

§         For hospital stays over 90 days - Medicare has a 60 day "Lifetime Reserve Days" that can be used with a coinsurance of $550 per day.
